  • Who can become a supporter of the Seoul Declaration?

    Any public or private company or voluntary sector organization can actively participate in creating a preventative culture at the workplace. If your organization or enterprise is willing to demonstrate a commitment to safety and health at work and subscribe to the principles of the Seoul Declaration, you are invited to become a supporter. To support the Seoul Declaration means to actively play a role in creating a preventative culture and improving safety and health at work.

    As a supporter, your organization

    • becomes part of a national and international movement and an actor for a safer and healthier working life;
    • can showcase good practices in occupational safety and health;
    • can motivate others to improve their OSH performance.

  • What does the support involve?

    Organizations that want to become a supporter of the Seoul Declaration agree to:

    • Support the core principles of the Seoul Declaration.
    • Implement these principles, whenever possible and provide updates on the implementation progress on request.
    • Advocate, if possible, various community or society, as well as national or international initiatives to promote occupational safety and health.
    • Take measures to prevent accidents and diseases at the organization’s workplace.
    • Raise awareness in favour of the benefits of prevention.
    • Share, transfer and promote existing preventative knowledge, success stories and good practices.
    • Consult in a cooperative manner with safety and health experts and employees on how to improve your organization’s safety and health performance.
    • Encourage others to support this movement.

Support the Seoul Declaration

To become a supporter of the Seoul Declaration, you must complete the form below. After submission, the Seoul Declaration Joint Secretariat will contact you if we require further information. Once your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation and a certificate from the Joint Secretariat based on the information provided by you.

Please note that only organizations, companies, institutions and other entities can become a supporter of the Seoul Declaration on Safety and Health at Work.
